Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Linux Kernel Developer you will be responsible for the development and optimization of various components in the core kernel and related areas such as Memory management, CPU scheduler, RAS, I/O and KVM.
You will apply your deep expertise in development of Enterprise Linux features to ensure out of box performance is obtained for key workloads on POWER systems. In the process, you will also interact and actively participate in the Linux kernel community discussions for feature design and development.”

As a developer, you will work in a highly dynamic team of Linux kernel engineers. Most of these engineers are well known in Linux Kernel community. The motivating team environment will help you learn the following –

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3 to 8 years ofexperience in working on projects realted to Linux internals / Operating systems.
- Working knowledge of computer systems architecture
- Strong Operating systems skills.
- C, C++, Python and scripting
- Experience with working with open source software
- Proven communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Prior exposure to opensoruce community work
