Introduction

Our Infrastructure Architects are responsible for keeping up with the latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.
Your Role and Responsibilities
– CCIE or equivalent (CCIE/JNCIE certification, or equivalent would be a great plus)
– Networking solution experience in design, plan, implementation & build of large-scale data centers of complex networks, including network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.
– Understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS, and etc.)
– In-depth knowledge of communication protocols and routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF).
– Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper solutions or equivalent
– Route /Switch L2/L3 technologies.
– Ability to work independently & Collaborate in team work.
– Excellent communication skills regarding technical and non-technical concepts.
– Acts as a professional technical interface to customers for network solution and delivery quality.
– Performs technical service and/or pre-sales support for Networking. Assists in engaging services activities including systems assurance, installation, account management, basic problem determination, discontinuance and relocation for network systems.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– 15+ years experience in network product support (Cisco, Juniper, F5, etc), design, and implementation
– Exhibits excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
– Applies specialized technical training, experience and knowledge to assist customers.
– Demonstrates required proficiency in technical skills for this position.
– Strong Service & Business Mind.
– Normal/flexible office conditions at IBM and customer locations.
– High availability and responsiveness goals; require use of many communications technologies.
– Possesses experience with System, Hardware or Server
