Job Description
The AppCloud Platform Practice Director reports into the Chief Platform Officer and is responsible for driving Bluewolf Services in the following product/platform segments:
  • Force.com - High configuration development & delivery (SaaS)
  • Heroku - High control development & delivery (PaaS)
  • Mobile - Mobile app development platform
  • Salesforce Shield – Monitor usage, encrypt data, audit trails.
  • Salesforce DX – New developer experience
  • Salesforce Thunder – Event/IoT processing engine
  • Salesforce Identity – Single sign-on, 2-factor
  • AppCloud Einstein - Einstein Vision (Image Classification, Object Detection), Einstein Language (Intent, Sentiment)
  • App Exchange – Development accelerators

Informally, we also support Services sales in the following areas: Data (Quality, MDM, etc.), Integrations, Data Migration, Cloud Governance, Data Governance. The duties consist of:
  • Presales Support: solutioning, presentations, RFP responses, etc.
  • Program Execution: executing programs in conjunction with BW Marketing or with Salesforce AppCloud Platform Product Division representatives
  • Delivery: occasional, small scale, not too frequent, but on an exception basis as a Platform or Governance SME
  • Sales Support materials development: Presentations, Training, collateral, etc.

This role can be located in San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, New York or Remote

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

The individual in this role should be “fairly” hands on or at least capable of building out high-level demos or supporting the occasional POC. Requirements include:
  • Advanced Knowledge of Salesforce Platforms
  • Experience developing or delivering solutions on Salesforce Platforms
  • Understanding of Salesforce Force.com Platform features/functions/capabilities
  • Broad understanding and perspective on Enterprise IT topics including Architecture, Design, Implementation of Cloud Solutions
  • Hands on experience with development tools, IDEs, source control, etc.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Software Development Lifecycle
  • Familiarity/experience with Agile development methodology
  • Prior Presales or Service Delivery experience
