The Product Marketing Manager for Industries Solutions is the expert on Aspera use cases in our core and emerging industries. He / she will work closely with multiple distributed teams across engineering, sales, and marketing to capture client needs, create compelling stories, and evangelize customer successes across those industries while developing marketing plans and campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation across these industries. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology; the ability to understand at a deep level customer needs within key verticals; and the ability to communicate the Aspera value through clear, insightful marketing materials of high production quality.

Position Responsibilities include:
  • Become the industry expert across our key industries
  • Conceptualize and create industry solution content and customer success stories that properly target and position Aspera in go to market activities
  • Develop market facing content in the form of industry point of view brochures, solution briefs, customer presentations, infographics, videos, & blogs
  • Develop & execute industry campaigns that include digital & event related activities
  • Evangelize the differentiated value proposition at industry trade shows, executive briefings and internal customer events
  • Actively participate in sales enablement by creating interactive product / technology / company presentations that describe and communicate the value of Aspera within the industry use case to be used as sales or training support collateral
  • Explore new and more effective ways to leverage Aspera’s value proposition & positioning across industries to generate more IBM Cloud sales and marketing leads and closed deals
  • Develop speaker presentations to be used by sales and business development teams
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • BS in Marketing or related experience; MBA is a plus.
  • 2-4 years related product marketing or industry marketing experience in the high-tech industry, particularly in software
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills a must with demonstrated ability to communicate at the solution level and with a senior executive and IT audience
  • Proven track record in developing thought leadership content such as case studies, solution briefs, presentations, demos, contributed articles and sales training (will need to provide writing samples)
  • Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (customer meetings and industry events)

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • MBA
  • 5+ years of related works experience
