Job Description
As a Sr. Product Analyst, you will be responsible for the designing, developing, and communicating detail requirements between product management, engineering, and delivery/operations. You will frequently work directly with customers and partners to understand their needs from both a business and technical perspective. You will define and drive the product requirements that meet an overall roadmap. You will represent the product to customers and executive leadership, and serve as the subject matter expert of the product. In this role you will roll up your sleeves and work directly with engineering, operations and support teams to help build, maintain, and optimize the features and services that you define. You will create and track metrics to define the success of your services. You will play a key role in planning the product roadmap and development timelines.

The successful candidate will be a tenacious, ambitious, self-starter with a passion for the cloud and DevOps in the Cloud who can serve as a strong advocate for our customers. You will have prior product/business analyst and/or software product development experience and a thorough understand of operations and its supporting services and tools. You will also have proven analytical capabilities, strong writing skills, web development experience, and the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. You are very delivery-focused, balanced with being a big-picture evangelist. You are a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company, and with the customer.

• Deep understanding/currency with cloud technologies and architectures, including Virtualization, APIs, Micro-services and Containers.
• Understanding of Cloud Provider services, usage and delivery paradigms
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills: marked by experience in collecting, compiling and analyzing relevant data, and complimented with strong Excel expertise to access and transform data into insights
• 2+ years experience translating customer needs into user stories, developing cost and pricing models, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Working knowledge of Project/Program Management principles
• Ability to understand the big picture and relationships of each capability to the others across the program
• Ability to process and manage multiple priorities and initiatives

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience as product / business analyst for software or web-based enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in an Agile-development environment.Knowledge of CI/CD processes, DevOps toolchains, blueprint, template and/or container based deployment models

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience with multiple Cloud services, including vmWare, IBM Cloud, AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud beyond compute and storage
  • Knowledge of Pragmatic Marketing, AIPMM, and Sequent product management paradigms
  • Operations experience in customer service, help desk, or other tech support functions
