Job Description
This position leads the Global Digital TSS Sales organization. Responsible for total TSS Signings, Revenue and Gross Profit achievement. Direct intersection with the IBM Geo Digital TSS Sales Ldrs is an essential part of this position's responsibilities. The successful candidate should have strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the technical support business and client needs. In addition, this executive should have a good understanding of IBM Logo Maintenance business and Multi-vendor Support Services, a key growth strategy for this business, with appreciation for competitors, partners, and potential new routes to market and whitespace opportunities. The successful candidate will work with executives in both Systems and Software to provide technical support and maintenance to IBM's client base and to support IBM's pursuits in the HW and SW infrastructure spaces. Strong leadership skills are required in order to lead all the TSS Sales Digital organization of the 7 Geos to provide sellers the vision, strategy and TSS direction.

Key responsibilities of the Digital Sales TSS Director include:
  • Responsible for digital sales and revenue growth for TSS across all World-Wide Geos.
  • Empower clients to make faster decisions with a clear understanding of how IBM can transform their business digitally.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop digital sales solutions, and assist IBM in winning the business.
  • Drive expansion of the Digital Platform (Marketing, Digital Sales, Channels) and implement marketing and sales initiatives through direct / indirect Sales & Marketing organizations
  • Provide leadership, training and mentorship to large sales force from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Drive performance across the spectrum of digital sales, transform as necessary from a sales support and managed digital sales force perspective.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 10-15 yrs experience in creating sales strategies, with the last 5 yrs specializing in digital sales domain, possessing capabilities to develop solutions in order to position IBM’s value proposition to clients through the digital sales channel.
  • Excellent client interaction and relationship building skills with ability to work with client’s executive level of management.
  • In-depth understanding and ability to articulate the digital marketing industry, innovations, technology and competition.
  • Last 5-10 yrs of solid and consistent sales quota over-achievement in highly competitive and dynamic markets
  • Solid knowledge of Sales & Services business.
  • Experience of Technical Services Sales model
  • TSS sales leadership in transactions, warranty exits and renewals
  • Strategic thinker with ability to design/build new TSS business model, deploy across complex geographies and drive sales performance through IBM and the channel (a combination of strategy, deployment and sales)
  • Excellent employee engagement and motivational skills,
  • Approachable, open-minded, energetic, outgoing personality
