As a Mobile Application Developer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical duties including application programming, analysis, testing, and product installation to deliver high quality application solutions to clients. Tasks performed require integrating hardware, software packages and network solutions, including highly complex application components and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Applicants should also be specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment.

Successful candidates for these positions will work onsite at the IBM Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge. The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Baton Rouge center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel up to 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position. You must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Louisiana. The work location is 100 North Street Baton Rouge, LA 70802. This is not a work from home position.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3 Years developing mobile applications (native iOS, native Android, or hybrid)
  • 3 Years various aspects of the mobile lifecycle, including application development (application structure, device and operation system API's, debugging, performance, security) and deployment
  • 3 Years one or more of: Swift, Ajax, REST, JSON, Angular.js, Node.js, REACT, Android Studio
  • 3 Years using version control systems, such as GIT
  • Basic knowledge of client-server development in mobile environment, prove


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 5 Years - Developing mobile applications (native iOS, native Android, or hybrid)
  • 5 Years - Various aspects of the mobile lifecycle, including application development (application structure, device and operation system API's, debugging, performance, security) and deployment
