Position Summary:

The Manager, Delivery will report to the VP, Delivery. The Manager, Delivery is responsible for leading a team of 6-10 Delivery Managers that will ensure the overall success of implementing the IBM’s patient engagement, performance management, and care management solutions throughout the United States. This position has direct oversight and management of Delivery Managers and must be knowledgeable in all aspects of software implementation in a healthcare environment.

Duties:
  • Under direction of VP, Delivery, optimize client implementation projects and new product delivery by facilitating efforts across the organization, particularly among the Delivery organization, Sales and Client Services.
  • Ensure that Delivery Managers deliver successful client implementations that meet expected timelines and exceed expectations.
  • Train, motivate, mentor and develop employees through personal and career development and coaching.
  • Coach Delivery Managers to:
  1. Perform due diligence to gain a thorough understanding of client’s organization and workflow
  2. Lead implementation workshops, normally on-site with the client
  3. Conduct client discovery sessions aimed at understanding key staff workflows based on the client’s objectives (PCMH, MSSP ACO, shared savings programs, cost savings/revenue generating initiatives)
  4. Determine client configuration requirements and guide client toward best practices
  5. Partner with Systems Integration to insure all client requirements can be met
  6. Analyze PM/EMR/claims data according to established processes to guarantee appropriate product configuration
  7. Coordinate client training and lead account transfer to Account Executive after successful implementation.
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of Delivery Managers, including forecasting and managing resource requirements, operational costs, and infrastructure requirements to meet the company objectives.
  • Support the development of tools, processes, and procedures that radically reduce customer implementation cycle time and eliminate opportunities for deployment defects
  • Travel of up to 35% is expected but not consistent
Requirements:
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of software implementation in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated leadership in successful enterprise-level implementation projects.
  • Ability to manage and champion a strong team committed to client satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Client-facing presence and experience interacting with multiple levels within an organization, including executive leadership
  • Experience managing multiple projects, monitoring and reporting progress, and exceeding client expectations including the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude including ability to understand software configuration and data structures
  • Possess the skills necessary to enter into a new client and perform an assessment of the organization
  • Identify critical success factors and ensure all are met during implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be located in the area of Northeast Ohio





Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of software implementation in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated leadership in successful enterprise-level implementation projects
  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Principles, healthcare IT Solutions and clinical workflow
  • Experience managing multiple projects, monitoring and reporting progress, and exceeding client expectations including the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude including ability to understand software configuration and data structures
  • Possess the skills necessary to enter into a new client and perform an assessment of the organization
  • Identify critical success factors and ensure all are met during implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
