Job Description
IBM Research's Reactive Ion Etch group is seeking a candidate with expertise in low temperature plasma processing.

You will be responsible for operation and development of plasma processes for advanced CMOS device and interconnect fabrication for future device technology nodes through internal and external engagements. These include processes that can achieve atomic layer etching precision through various low electron temperature sources and use novel methods to address plasma damage phenomena that impact current and future device and interconnect technologies. You will further be responsible for applying these developed processes and fabrication technologies to an advanced development and manufacturing type environment.

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related area is preferred.

This is a long-term supplemental position.
