Position Summary:

Working under the Leader for Pre-Sales work with the Radiology Pre-Sales Demo and Discovery Team to optimize their performance in areas such as customer engagement, product knowledge, demo quality, RFP completion, and overall sales support. Provide feedback to other areas of the company (Offering Management, Marketing, Engineering, Implementation / Services, Support, etc) on market needs, drivers, product
improvements etc.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Set up “operating mechanisms” with the Radiology pre-sales consultants in the form of regularly scheduled conference calls, meetings, and other events with the goal of discussing ways to continue to improve the performance of the team, to coordinate schedules, to share information, and to do any other activities that will enhance the performance of the Radiology branch of the pre-sales consulting team
  • Develop standards that will be understood by the Clinical Consulting Team, which describe the level of preparation and performance required to execute a superb demonstration of Watson Health’s products
  • Take input from all Radiology consultants and develop action plans for improving the performance of the team
  • Foster interactions between the Radiology consulting team and our existing client base, to assist in making sure that our client base is happy and referenceable
  • Communicate regularly with Pre-Sales Consulting Leader on issues in the field that represent areas for improvement or opportunities to gain competitive advantage. Pre-Sales Consulting Leader with feedback on the performance of IBM Sellers as appropriate
  • Foster Radiology consultant’s use of salesforce.com to keep accounts updated
  • Assist Radiology consultants in analyzing the competitive landscape of each deal in order to properly position Watson Health’s UBVs / differentiators
  • Assist Radiology consultants in developing proposed solutions that address prospect-specific clinical, business, and technology issues
  • Assist Radiology consultants with ROI analysis of customers proposed solution
  • Assist in staging and staffing industry tradeshows (as necessary)
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with Watson Health’s Radiology products including Merge PACS, Merge Unity, iConnect Access
  • Experience in working with customers and prospects to develop technical plans for implementing and upgrading Watson Health’s Radiology solutions
  • Strong ability to articulate technology concepts to both high level business audiences and highly clinical or technical individuals
  • Demonstrated self-confidence and self-reliance in conducting demonstrations, presentations and experience working in healthcare imaging business situations
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Expertise in IT / imaging solutions dealing with Radiology imaging
  • Five (5) years experience in the healthcare field managing teams of healthcare IT professionals.
  • One (1) year experience explaining healthcare technology to customers and sales prospects, or providing internal support to company employees
Education/Certification:
  • A professional degree in a related field including: Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS), Radiology Technology


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Familiarity with Watson Health’s Radiology products including Merge PACS, Merge Unity, iConnect Access or similar technology
  • Experience in working with customers and prospects to develop technical plans for implementing and upgrading Watson Health’s Radiology solutions
  • Strong ability to articulate technology concepts to both high level business audiences and highly clinical or technical individuals
  • Demonstrated self-confidence and self-reliance in conducting demonstrations, presentations and experience working in healthcare imaging business situations





Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Expertise in IT / imaging solutions dealing with Radiology imaging
  • Five (5) years experience in the healthcare field managing teams of healthcare IT professionals.
  • One (1) year experience explaining healthcare technology to customers and sales prospects, or providing internal support to company employees
