Job Description
We are in need of a Director, B2C Commerce in the San Francisco area. You will be responsible for interpreting client requirements, business processes, and use cases to produce quality recommendations and insights for Bluewolf’s B2C clientele. You provide leadership, guidance and thought leadership to B2C commerce teams to ensure that both we are able to execute successfully innovative and best practice approaches to the unified commerce space.

Specific responsibilities for this key role will include:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business and their existing technologies to design a complete solution for the integration, extension or enhancement of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure we are offering the best approach to implementation and that we are consistent with the commitments to the client
  • Knowledge share with the team, mentoring newer team members and ensure that we are abreast of the latest unified commerce technologies.
  • Generate new ideas and techniques that are relevant to the eCommerce space.
  • Participate in internal process improvements to our B2C commerce delivery process
  • Participate in the sales process, communicating with prospective clients about our processes, potential architectures for their solutions, and estimating level of effort with our Sales team

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree in area(s) related to business and/or technology
  • 10+ years of commerce knowledge in the space as it relates to technology and architecture
  • 2+ years of experience with the SFCC platform OR multiple years of experience architecting enterprise web applications.
  • 2+ years of experience in a client facing (external or internal) role.
  • 2+ years of experience leading project teams
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, and different approaches to it.
  • Strong background with Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent problem solving with strong analytical skills, and impeccable business judgment and decision making abilities
