Job Description
This role will lead product marketing for a leading edge software-defined storage for the leader in the segment. Create compelling selling and marketing content for sellers, business partners and digital marketing campaigns. Work closely with IBM Offering Managers and Engineering to translate features into focused customer benefits for specific markets, use cases and opportunities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 8+ years of Product Marketing of infrastructure IT, HPC or Big data Analytics with global reach required.
  • Direct experience in backup, system management or distributed storage.
  • Independent and self-starter who is capable of go-to-market strategy, market segmentation, content lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to write in long and short form with skills to collaborate on multi-channel content.


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience as a Product Manager and Agile methodologies is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical foundation for storage, HPC schedulers or experience in IT as a strong plus.
  • Experience with digital campaign development using common tools, such as HubSpot, Marketo or similar
  • Develop competitive comparisons, battlecards and sales training
  • Experience with user communities, PR and Analysts required.
