Job Duties:
- Perform as the global CMP focal point to the Procurement organization.
- Lead carrier engagements and manage project wok across all countries that offer Corporate Mobile Programs (“CMP”) for global initiatives (eg: TEM implementation, device direct ship model, CMP Standardization, etc). Partner with Procurement to negotiate and update contracts as required. Keep the CMP squads focused on completing supplier project activities.
- Work closely with the CMP Iteration Manager(s) and Product Owners to identify opportunities to engage suppliers for CMP continuous improvement
- Maintain a view of CMP supplier strategies and identify opportunities for innovation in CMP, leveraging emerging capabilities. Bridge requirements from the Mobile@IBM team with supplier capabilities and areas where there are new developments.
- Lead sourcing activities representing the Corporate Mobile Program (“CMP”), in partnership with Procurement (eg: competitive RFP and negotiations), working across the Mobile@IBM team. Lead the CMP team in developing RFP requirements, statements work, and analyses of proposed offerings, unifying the country views to represent the global perspective. This includes:
- Work with CMP squads and Procurement to plan and execute CMP RFPs and negotiations
- Analyze recommendations from a local and global perspective
- Perform as the first level global escalation point for CMP supplier performance issues and develop actions to address (eg: in-building coverage plans)
- Maintain an accurate inventory of CMP suppliers and key attributes and opportunities
- Participate with Procurement in contract negotiations representing the business and user requirements for all CMP countries.
- Track all contracts for updates based on any new regulations or broad business and mandated requirements, working in partnership with Procurement
