The Business Operations Professional will work directly with the Vice President and all members of the senior management team to analyze all aspects of the business including strategies, business cases, processes, and more and develop and/or monitor strategies and practices for potential implementation to ensure organizational effectiveness.

What You will do at IBM:

In this role, you will be responsible for consistently working alongside the VP of RESO and at a high level, project managing and monitoring WW initiatives, projects, and activities, including but not limited to:
• Manage all functional wide activities with a focus on scheduled outcomes and assessed risks
• Develop and manage implementation of new business procedures, plans, and processes focused on long term solutions for the function
• Conducts research, readouts, and argumentation on topics pertinent to the operations of the function and the industry, including trends, leading edge solutions
• Support for regularly-scheduled business reviews, unit investment reviews, and executive team communications.
• Develop executive briefings and presentations, including additional business case material to support organizational decisions
• Develop and manage operational metrics to measure organization’s effectiveness and create presentation for monthly leadership meeting
• Monitor and analytically evaluate process execution, trends and root causes, business performance, to promote client satisfaction and achieve operational results. Provides ongoing technical/operational guidance to other professionals and directly influences people inside and outside department or function.
• Guides functional objectives, business plans or technologies.
• Engage with project teams and stakeholders from across the functional group and the enterprise to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate and execute within Agile teams, Design Thinking, benchmarking analysis, and competitive and market analysis



Required Technical and Professional Expertise

What You Will Need To Have:
• At least 5 years’ experience in business operations capacity and managing projects or significant activity
• At least 2 years of experience with effective communication and interaction with all levels of Executive Management
• Critical analysis and pragmatic oriented skills
• Strong aptitude for business applications
• Creating presentations (storyboarding and design) and conference and digital media applications
• BS/BA


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Preferred
• Enterprise transformation experience
• Proven operational management experience with Agile teams, Design Thinking, benchmarking analysis, and competitive and market analysis
