Are you professional Briefing Consultant with a security background? A self-starter who is incredibly well organized. A planner, someone focused on making sure a client has not only a comfortable experience but is able to focus on everything they need to understand to ensure the goals of the briefing are achieved.

IBM Security is looking for a Manager for the X-Force Command Center which includes the Executive Briefing Center and the X-Force Command center located in our Atlanta, GA.

Candidates must have an aptitude for technology. Our products, technologies, strategies, and competitiveness must be understood and continually maintained through self-learning and formal education sessions. A Briefing Consultant must have excellent relationship building skills, and have diplomatic sensitivity for international and multicultural ways of doing business globally. The end goal is the execution of an event that yields high customer satisfaction, builds a business relationship for IBM, and accelerates the sale. A Briefing Consultant must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, while multitasking and paying attention to many details, portraying responsiveness and flexibility.

Responsibilities include working with sales teams to schedule and coordinate briefings; identifying and mentoring subject matter experts to ensure the right content is applied for each unique client; gathering and relaying customer feedback; scheduling and managing catering and logistics.

This is a customer facing role focusing on the overall custom experience customers have while at the Atlanta Executive briefing center. We strive to create a world class experience for our customers which starts before they arrive and after they leave. Sales teams look to the EBC as a way to move a customer down the sales cycle and to help close business.
This role is broken down into three different areas.
  1. Manager of X-Force Command – Executive level engagement which includes a world class customized experience for our customers.
  2. Executive Briefing - Greeting and welcoming customers to the EBC and provide experience that positions IBM as a trusted advisor. Custom EBC Experience – Create custom agendas based the needs of the IBM Security customer. Their agenda should align the customer with the correct IBM Thought leaders, Executive speakers, topics and areas of focus.
  3. Sales Advocate – While sitting in the briefing, it is expected to capture follow up items, call to actions and aligning to the sales opportunities. It is critical that the sales team is engaged before, during and after the experience.
  4. Technical Story Telling – The use of the X-Force Command Center allows a 100% immersive customer experience we call the “Bridge” which allows IBM to positioned as a thought leader in the Security marketplace.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5 plus years of experience
  • Strong communications and presentation experience
  • Cyber security experience


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Excellent negotiation and organization skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills. This role requires the ability to maintain and build relationships with IBM sales, IBM executives, IBM subject matter experts and clients. You will also need to build relationships with key stakeholders in the office building (facilities, RESO, Watson Health client team, etc.)
  • Exhibits a high degree of professionalism. This is a client facing position where you will interface with Executives every day.
  • Able to multi-task, while paying attention to many details, portraying responsiveness and flexibility
  • Teaming is extremely important. This role requires you to work as a team every day and cover for your teammates when needed.
  • Aptitude for technology. Our products, technologies, strategies, and competitiveness must be understood and continually maintained.
