Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Sports & Entertainment Partnership team is looking to add an individual who thrives in live events environments where delivery is mission critical. This individual will work with our global sponsorship partners to deliver compelling innovation aligned with the strategic agenda of IBM. They should have demonstrated previous experience developing and producing digital solutions for high visibility events/clients – and know how to leverage digital as a business driver. They should have meaningful experience engaging partner stakeholders in an ongoing collaborative relationship.

As part of a small and integrated team – this individual will be charged with operational leadership of programs within the Sports& Entertainment portfolio working closely with clients, technology teams, and our client engagements leaders . Further, they will lead the project management and integration efforts across the full M&C function. They should be able to apply IBM’s overall strategy into the programs while integrating the latest trends in the sports and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities would include:
• Design and develop overall program execution plan around 1-2 of the biggest global brands in sports and entertainment (e.g Formula 1, The Masters, US Open).
• Implementation of IBM’s marketable technologies that drive business outcomes for us and our partners
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersto design and implement world class client engagement programs.
• Manage project across all functions through the entire life-cycle including ideation, planning, implementation and measurement. Must demonstrate effectiveness in managing large budgets in a highly matrixed organization
• Ability to think at the macro level for brand strategies and pull them through to the tactical level in a way that impacts our partnerships.
• Implementation of best practices in digital and social
• Stay up to date with the global technology landscape and advise and implement modern trends
• Communicate seamlessly amongst various stakeholders including CEO’s, SVP’s, Engineers, Marketers, and Clients .
• Demonstrated ability and experience in operating global programs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 9+ years of experience managing the development of complex global marketing and technology programs on time and on budget
• Strong project management experience with adherence to deadlines and business controls requirements
• Excellent executive communication skills including written and public presentations
• Travel will be required up to 25% of the time

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• 2+ years of marketing experience supporting global initiatives with knowledge of effective marketing enablement

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
