Your Role and Responsibilities

As an IBM Marketing
This internship would support our Media & Marketing Automation (MMA) team. This team is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our paid media and marketing automation activities to deliver value to our business, as well as re-imagining media & marketing automation efforts in an AI-driven world. As an intern on this team, you could be involved in helping answer
- Optimizing paid media campaigns and tactics to increase relevance of the IBM brand and drive demand for priority products
- Analyzing, designing, and enhancing omni-channel audience journeys to serve our prospective clients relevant and personalized content in the right place at the right time
- Driving innovation at the intersection of marketing and AI, through generative AI for content creation, process automation for enhanced productivity, and more
This role is based in New York, NY.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Currently enrolled in an accredited University
- Available for an internship in Summer 2025
- Rising senior for the 2025-2026 school year
- Passionate about marketing, data,
analytics , or a related field - Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- A strategic, consultative, data-driven mindset
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Basic knowledge of marketing, communications,
data , or related areaanalytics - Basic market research skills
- Basic knowledge of how to leverage data to tell a story
- SQL, Excel, Python, R for data analysis
- Tableau, Excel, PowerBI, Cognos for
data visualization
