Your Role and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities:

As a data analyst, you will be responsible for:

Translate business requirements into “high-level” design solutions, including mapping documents and SQL
Participate in regular standups and prioritisation sessions.
Create test cases and prototypes; perform tests in development, testing, and production.
Analyse and validate data from sources

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or similar
Knowledge of mainframe concepts would be a plus.
Hands-on experience in mainframe hardware: CECs, engines, MIPS, memory, LPARs, features, orders
Experience in mainframe software: licenses, value metrics, aggregation, MSUs, value units
Expertise in mainframe revenue: hardware, software, brands/divisions, majors/minors, unbundling
Familiarity with advanced concepts is a plus. leasing, maintenance, storage, royalties, sub-capacity, on-demand offerings
Required experience with DB2 or another relational database system
Required experience with data warehouse
Required expert-level SQL skills
Knowledge of relational database theory and database design
Experience synthesising business requirements into technical designs
Familiarity with the DevOps approach to software dev/test/deploy/maintain
Familiarity with the Agile approach to software development
Experience working in a mainframe development environment is a plus.
