Your Role and Responsibilities
Who are you :
The Software Development QA Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of software engineers to develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality software solutions. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. The QA Manager works closely with other departments, including product management, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure that software projects meet business objectives and customer needs.

We are a global team, so communication skills (both verbal and written) are critical as well as flexibility to work with team members in other time zones.

What you will do:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of software projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the development team. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and software design.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve development processes and practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and team performance.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new developers. Build and maintain a high-performing development team.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Budget Management: Manage the software development budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in managing a team of software QA engineers.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a positive and productive team culture, promoting professional development and career growth.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop project timelines, manage resources, and coordinate with other departments to achieve project goals.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • TestRail Experience
  • Basic understanding of Networking Concepts
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes and Microservices development is a plus
  • Basic understanding Security & Compliance is a plus
