Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Governance Support Specialist, you will:

Support implementation governance structures and processes across the organization.
Support proper governance, including the creation of policies and guidelines that comply with Federal travel regulations.
Ensure organizational adherence to governance policies and guidelines
Review regulations, assess risk strategies and/or overseeing compliance audits
Facilitate workshops and planning sessions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience managing and rolling out complex SAP (or other large ERP) programs across multiple business units
Convey complex governance and compliance issues in a clear, succinct and impactful manner to various stakeholders within the organization.
Previous experience in the development of policy documentation (particularly information or data standards and guidelines preferred).
Understanding of governance principles, including familiarity with the core objectives of data governance
Strong verbal and written skills are essential.
Ability to adapt to continuously changing environments.
Facilitates workshops and planning sessions
At least 2-3 years of federal program governance support
Candidates local to the DMV area will be required to work onsite in the Reston, VA office Monday-Thursday.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
