Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities
This is for a 2025 summer internship with the following start dates: May – August or June – September for quarter system schools.
- Advance the development of quantum computing systems and infrastructure including the datacenters that they reside in.
- Learn new quantum engineering techniques and incorporate those principles into work processes for building the next generation of quantum computers.
- Participate in corporate events, executive speaker series, and showcase effective time management.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior, in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or similar program.
- Have a broad mechanical understanding and experience with CAD modeling, simulation, assembly, fabrication, and basic electrical systems.
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Have ability and motivation to work in a hands-on environment (e.g. labs / datacenters)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with basic hand tools, power tools, and fabrication.
- Experience with analyzing existing electromechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and pursue creative approaches to technical problems.
- Experience working in a lab or datacenter environment.
