Your Role and Responsibilities
The PTS-Build is responsible to help guide and support ISV partners in embedding, sell-to, resell and influence scenarios with IBM’s strategic technologies. Activities include deal support with partners selling to clients (i.e., PoX, RFX) and co-creating with partners (Joint Solutions, Assets, embedding of IBM technology). The PTS-Build will work closely with Ecosystem engineering team, delivers a unique co-creation experience for partners to accelerate and scale the embedding and use of IBM’s strategic technologies to/in partner solutions. They use contemporary technologies and approaches to design, develop, test, and co-deliver solutions across the IBM Technology platform.

  • Deliver IBM SW brand revenue for assigned Partners by closing and winning deals on Embedded Solution Agreements (ESA)
  • Facilitate co-creation of new embedded IBM software solutions
  • Facilitate Build Lab engagements providing deep technology expertise that enable your Partner to embed IBM software into their solution(s)
  • Identify and progress expansion opportunities for IBM software with existing Build Partners you cover


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Engage in meaningful discussions with their partner counterparts and describe the Embed solution and best practices / Point of View
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of implementing strategic IBM technologies in at least one key brand: Data & AI, Automation, Security & Sustainability
  • Understand the partner’s technologies that will be part of the co-create engagement


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Ability to co-create with partners and clients and build key relationships during Proof of Experience (PoX) delivery
  • Communicate effectively while evangelizing for strategic IBM technologies in at least one key brand: Data & AI, Automation, Security & Sustainability
  • Publish case studies and internal/external partner & client references upon successful engagement
  • Communicate successes and learnings to broader Ecosystem Engineering / technical sales / CSM / Client Engineering communities
