Introduction

You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This technical solution architect role architects first-class IBM Cloud technical solutions on complex pre & post-sale opportunities including client critical situations and onboarding acceleration. This role will have expertise in IBM Power or equivalent experience with IBM AIX on-prem cloud migrations.

**Please note – This position requires working onsite 3 days per week at our Mulhuddart location in Dublin, Ireland.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Architect level certification in at least one hyperscaler (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and strong knowledge and experience of hybrid cloud design & solutioning in IBM Cloud or another hyperscaler.
• Strong architectural design background and experience and cloud delivery experience including hands on.
• Experience in customer facing interaction with architecture and technical teams.
• Broad technical understanding of the IBM Technology portfolio
• IBM Power expertise or equivalent IBM AIX on-prem cloud migrations.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Expertise in of one or more of the following: IBM Power, PowerVS, AIX, Cloud migrations
• Knowledge of Cloud Networking, Cloud Security & Compliance, Non functional requirements such as Backup, DR, etc
