Your Role and Responsibilities

​In close collaboration with our clients, business partners and internal teams, we accelerate and make meaningful change together, swiftly applying breakthrough innovations that change how business gets done.​

In this pivotal go-to-market role, you will work in collaboration across IBM’s Consulting and Technology businesses to drive our hybrid cloud & AI strategy, uncovering new opportunities for IBM to provide asset management software and services.

• The role is responsible for developing integrated solutions that address their client’s business needs (both industry and business) and deliver client value while supporting IBM business strategies.
• Driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing and executing strategic plans to expand our asset management services.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs and pain points and develop solutions to address them by having:
  • Real world asset management experience demonstrating asset management principles, including maintenance, reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Industry knowledge – Familiarity with various industries, such as oil and gas, energy and utilities, manufacturing, and transportation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Year on year proven business development results, multi million dollar quota achievement through complex deal solutioning in asset management and preferably Maximo.
• Experience creating and growing strategic relationships with IBM C Suite clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Experienced in go-to-market plays, excited by the whitespace opportunity – keeping energy high while working longer sales cycles.
• Reputation as a credible thought leader, with deep market experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering
