We are seeking a skilled Back End developer to join our IBM team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work as backend developers. In this role, you will apply your system expertise and cloud DevOps skills across our market-leading SaaS Product. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to IBM team and help removes barriers to accelerating sustainability performance through the capture, consolidation, management, analysis and reporting on environmental, social and governance data.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2+ years’ experience in software development
• 1-3 years of working experience with JAVA/Python/JavaScript, other languages also considered
• Knowledge of Both SQL and NoSQL Database implementations
• Knowledge of Frontend Technology – React/Angular/Vue
• Knowledge of Source Code tools like GitHub
• Knowledge of IDE’s like Eclipse, VS
• Unit test expertise using any unit test framework like Junit
• 2+ years of experience on SQL Server, Windows Server System Administration and PowerShell.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exceptional knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, asynchronous architectures, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with popular AWS, Azure, and IBM cloud services for computing, storage, databases, etc.
• Experience developing Single Page Web Applications and frameworks like React or equivalent.
• Experience developing JS, CSS, and HTML sites.
• Professional experience building REST APIs.
• Selenium test framework understanding and any experience using the framework for test automation is a bonus.
• Passionate and driven to design and implement scalable, programmatic solutions to complex problem
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Technical experience in building and delivering complex software systems
• Experience in working with customers, product management, and senior management to provide value to the market.
