Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Technology Expert Labs is looking to cover a Delivery Consultant positions with experience in Z / Mainframe technology. As an IBM zSystems Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients’ goals. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue- / hypothesis-based methodologies, communication, and service orientation skills. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs, a team that is client focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical, you’ll collaborate with clients to optimize and trailblaze new solutions that address real business challenges.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

– Knowledge in the Mainframe / Z technology
– 1 years of hands-on experience in z/OS, zVM, LinuxONE
– Fluent in English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

– Experience to install, upgrade, configuration and testing of IBM Z operating system, subsystem and related software
– Experience in planning and implementation reports and documentation
– Good understanding of z/OS high availability and Copy Services technology including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror and GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex ) on z/OS
– Deep, hands-on skills in ONE or MORE of the following subject matter areas: Networking, Storage, Security, CICS, Linux and WebSphere MQ Series
– z/VM & zSecurity, RACF, Sysplex, DB2 plex, z/VM system programming & Linux on z Systems administration
