A Technology Sales Engineer role (what we internally call a, ‘Brand Technical Specialist’) within IBM storage means co-creating with clients and colleagues in one of the most trusted, respected and awarded teams in it’s space. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Brand Technical Specialist, you’ll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM’s industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

  • Storage Strategy Creation: Creating client strategies for storage solutions.
  • Enhanced Storage Solutions: Defining IBM storage options to improve existing technology.
  • Proof of Concept Delivery: Providing proofs of concept and simplifying technical topics for client understanding.
  • Complex Cloud Deal Closure: Building trust to successfully close complex cloud tech deals.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Multiple years of Sales experience with IT hardware and/or software solutions.
  • Experience with IBM, Dell EMC, Hitachi, HP, PURE or any other vendors solution sales.
  • Experience with account management.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Storage Strategy Creation: Creating client strategies for storage solutions.
  • Enhanced Storage Solutions: Defining IBM storage options to improve existing technology.
  • Proof of Concept Delivery: Providing proofs of concept and simplifying technical topics for client understanding. Complex Deal Closure: Building trust to successfully close complex technology deals.
