Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer in the Sustainability Software organization, you bring technical expertise and a passion for successfully adopting DevOps tools and practices. You are a problem solver at heart with a passion and drive to innovate and disrupt the current status quo on how to accomplish a task, resulting in automating and optimizing the DevOps workflow.
Key responsibilities of this role, but are not limited to:
- Serving as a technical team member in the development team and contributing your knowledge and expertise towards the project’s success.
- Implementing containerized workflows using technologies such as RedHat OpenShift, Kubenetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Travis CI , and other open-source solutions.
- Diagnosing environmental issues and introduce/implement technologies to solve them.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest container platform releases and containerization techniques.
- Provision and maintenance of DevOps Infrastructure
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Skills:
- 2+ years experience with:
- Openshift, Kubenetes Orchestration Platforms
- Automation with Ansible, Python, Shell scripts, AWS AMI/CFT
- Experience in Deploy, automate and maintenance of applications in cloud environment like IBM Cloud/AWS/GCP
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
- Linux Administration
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Data Engineering pipelines
- Agile Development Methodologies
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
