Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Application Architect-Cloud Application(Java)are required to involve with the process, life cycle and creation of the software solution to our clients in their businesses. You will work closely with critical stakeholders in using languages such as Java to develop the necessary specifications for software. You may also test, debug and improve generally faulty applications for clients.

Specifically, you will

• Define, detail and scope the technical requirements into solution architecture and drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.
• Design, develop and/or re-engineer application components, and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Support Technical Consultants and lead in building solutions and providing technical mentoring and guidance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Information Technology, Business or related fields.
• Experience with designing enterprise level system architect.
• Experience with collaborating with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
• Experience with using tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces of desired product
• Experience with develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
• Experience with communicating successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team.
• Very good communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in Chinese reading, listening, writing, and speaking/fluent in English reading and writing.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience creating highly available, large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience with client facing. (e.g. system architecture review with client)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), DevOps.
• Experience with cloud platform and cloud development. (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure, Openshift etc.)
• Experience with microservices system architect design.
• Practical Knowledge of Waterfall model, Agile Development, Scrum, Kanban Method.
• Working level in English speaking.
