Introduction
The Spectrum Fusion team part of IBM Storage is looking for a talented, innovative and enthusiastic Software engineering professional for the Compute Squad. Our Compute engineering team is responsible for delivering the compute related features and support with h/w interactions for the Spectrum Fusion HCI product line with top-notch performance, first-rate security, fail-safe reliability and exceptional quality.

The Software Development engineer will be the key individual responsible for feature enablement and delivery of networking features. You will perform hands-on coding and mentor junior developers, working to increase the knowledge and performance of the collective team. In addition, you will interface with senior members and team in working towards product and module improvement

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Implement features given by Architects and Leads
• Work with lead to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality of code.
• Mentor and guide the junior members in the team.
• Review test plans and provide guidance to the testing teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5years+ experience with Kubernetes/openshift, containers, golang.
• Experience with one of the management interfaces (UI, CLI and APIs) of Lenovo IMM, Dell iDRAC, and HP IPMI, as well as knowledge of redfish API. Familiarity with one of xClarity, iLO, or iDRAC is also required. The candidate should have understanding of BIOS, UEFI, and the ability to write automation code for them. Basic networking knowledge is also necessary.
