Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Web Developer with a strong background in Angular for front-end development and Node.js for back-end development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with NoSQL databases such as Cloudant DB or equivalents, as well as a proven track record of working within Agile methodologies. If you are a dynamic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities –
- Front-End Development: Develop dynamic, responsive, and high-performing web applications using Angular.
- Back-End Development: Build and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs using Node.js. Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize database solutions using Cloudant DB or other NoSQL databases.
- Agile Practices: Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software in iterative cycles.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application stability and performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and database schemas.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development using Angular and Node.js.
- Proficiency in Angular framework for front-end development.
- Experience working on Agile software development teams.
- Strong experience with Node.js and associated frameworks/libraries.
- Hands-on experience with Cloudant DB or similar NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase).
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Proficient in Git for source code management.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with containerization and deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
