Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is expanding its security research activities at our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, located in the vibrant technology park near Ben-Gurion University. In this Center, our researchers develop state-of-the-art software solutions to detect, analyze and mitigate emerging security threats across multiple threat surfaces. The center collaborates with IBM development teams worldwide, industrial and academic partners, clients and government. At this time, the Center has open positions in the area of Security Analytics. The position involves the development and evaluation of state-of-the-art AI-based solutions for detecting and deterring cyber attacks in cloud settings. Candidates are expected to have solid experience and expertise in machine learning and software development.

Duration: The position can take the form of a long-term research position or a post-doc fellowship.
Location: Beer Sheva, Israel
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Academic degree in computer science / engineering, or a related field (MSc/PhD preferred)
Experience in applied AI and machine learning
Solid background in programming and software engineering
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Prior experience in computer security is an advantage but not mandatory
