Your Role and Responsibilities
Our Technical Managers at IBM are the foundation of our strategic initiatives to lead skilled development teams to design, code, test, and provide industry-leading solutions that make the world run today – planes and trains take off on time, bank transactions complete in the blink of an eye and the world remains safe because of the work our software developers do. Whether you are working on projects internally or for a client, software development is critical to the success of IBM and our clients worldwide. At IBM, you will lead and motivate developers in using the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Technical Development Manager on the IBM Security Threat Management product, you will be leading and motivating a full-stack team in a fast-paced environment developing the next generation of AI-infused platform features using the latest Saas and microservices architecture. Working in an agile environment, you drive multi-disciplinary squads within the large global development product group. Your work will involve close collaboration with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Designers and Offering Managers across our global organization.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

10+ years of IT experience working with Global teams
Proven experience with one of the programming language & QA Experience
Proven communication skills
Comfortable with handling conflicts
Emotionally intelligent, Open minded and with a Growth Mindset.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Proven experience in Performance mgt & Experience in managing people’s work, workflows and results (also outside “software engineering”)
Proven experience as a software engineer
