Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist, you will collaborate closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust, and show them how IBM’s industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Client Management and Value Definition: Effectively manage client relationships, define IBM’s value proposition, and engage key decision-makers.
• Sales Process Management and Collaboration: Oversee the entire sales process, with a focus on expanding new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with various IBM teams.
• Grow Industry Leading Data, AI and Automation Solutions: Present, Evangelize, and Demo IBM’s leading integration and automation solutions to help clients see the value of implementing these solutions in their organization.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in Tech Sales: Actively acquiring new clients.
• Ability to Convey Tech Solutions: Effectively articulating the business and financial impact of tech solutions.
• Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Demonstrating engaging and influential communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in Technology Sales in the Data, AI and/or Automation space
• Skills in identifying, progressing and closing transactions
• Need to be able to create compelling reasons to act and articulate business value that maps back to the problem you’re solving
• 3+ years proven track record of closing Software transactions
• 2+ Years direct, face to face customer selling experience.
• 2+ years selling cloud software or SaaS solutions.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated 3-5 years’ experience in leading complex deals and value-based selling.
5+ years selling cloud software or SaaS solutions.
2+ years selling Data, AI and/or Automation software
