Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Public Sector industry sales executive, you will help drive global public sector technology sales for IBM through several actions including:
- Development and execution of large transformational deals in the industry, support, and augmentation of in quarter/half deals, and the creation and distribution of industry use cases sales enablement materials
- The industry sales executive is viewed as an industry SME who can coach market sellers on industry priorities and sales strategy to achieve success with sector clients.
- Drive joint industry sales motion with strategic partners across technology and services firms.
- Develop industry training and thought leadership material to improve IBM strategic positioning in the sector and IBM sales team expertise.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years Public Sector and/or Healthcare industry sales experience
- Knowledge of Public Sector and/or Healthcare technology initiatives, ability to connect public sector priorities to technology capabilities
- Deep Public Sector/Healthcare industry expertise and established reputation as industry expert
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Master’s degree (MBA, other)
- 10+ years public sector industry experience (Civilian Federal, SLED, Defense, Healthcare )
