Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Technical Sales Specialist aligned to Storage brands, you’ll be a collaborative technical expert and trusted advisor working with and across your clients, IBM’s broader sales teams, and Business Partners. You’ll understand clients’ business and technical requirements within the current competitive landscape and, combining this with your knowledge of IBM’s product suite, you’ll present value-driving solutions that compel clients to invest in us.

* Storage Expert and Trusted Advisor: Serving as the storage expert for clients and business partners
* Sales Support: Offering technical support in different sales stages, including demos and workshops.
* Collaborative Engagement: Collaborating with IBM sales teams and specialists.
* Value Emphasis: Emphasizing the value of IBM products.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 3-4 years of experience in Technical position or delivery sales. Sales and/or delivery experience in technology with a very technical aptitude and growth mindset. Knowledge in Storage, SAN, backup technologies.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Infrastructure technical knowledge
* Sales process expertise
* Knowledge of IBM Storage preferred
