Introduction
At IBM, work is more than a job – it’s a calling: To build. To design. To code. To consult. To think along with clients and sell. To make markets. To invent. To collaborate. Not just to do something better, but to attempt things you’ve never thought possible. Are you ready to lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world’s most challenging problems? If so, lets talk.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Analyst Relations Manager for IBM Data & AI, you’ll be responsible for influencing analyst perception of IBM’s offerings, counterbalanced with inbound engagements to inform and hone product/market fit. You’ll work well in collaboration with your stakeholders in product management and marketing to advance business goals, increase share of voice, and improve market traction.

This role is best suited for self-starters who thrive in deadline driven environments, and who appreciate the autonomy to build and implement a tailored analyst relations plan. Your ability to identify target analysts, align interactions to key business priorities, and to establish an appropriate engagement cadence is fundamental to your success in this role. A good degree of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal communication skills is requisite as you’ll own the relationship with each analyst and their firms, and will be accountable for the health and value return of those relationships over its lifetime. Experience in security is a plus, but no substitution for passion and pride in your craft.

Provide expertise to identify the right analyst(s), and appropriate interactions, experts, and content to achieve business goals. Orchestrate IBM’s outbound engagement and participation in the Analysts’ research agendas and published reports that matter most to the business. Develop IBM’s inbound engagements to inform our offering and market strategy to hone product/market fit.
