The IBM Systems Lab Services organization is looking for a senior IT Management Consultant with expertise in PowerVM, Hybrid Cloud, Containers, Security, & DevOps architectural methods technology and products to lead and deliver pre-sales and post-sales client engagements that enable the adoption Power.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and delivering IBM POWER solution design, architecture, and implementation of IBM POWER solutions which may include:
Technical Requirements Capable to Deliver Independently in 4 or more Topics:
- Private & Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: PowerVM, PowerVC, or, Cloud Management Console
- Containerization Technology: Openshift, Kubernetes, or Serverless Functions
- Databases: Oracle, SAP HANA
- Automation: Terraform, or Ansible
- High Availability: PowerHA, VMRecovery Manager, or LinuxHA
- Security: PowerSC, Security Compliance, Security Auditing, MFA, or File / Database Encryption
Previous IBM Power and strong PowerVM skills are required.
You will work with customers and IBM Sales and Business Partners to position, scope, and delivery of IBM POWER. Candidates must possess a strong background in executive consulting or technical sales and capable to deliver independently in 1 or more domain listed in the technical skills portfolio.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years’ experience working with one or more topic listed below:
- Private & Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: PowerVM, PowerVC, or, Cloud Management Console
- Containerization Technology: Openshift, Kubernetes, or Serverless Functions
- Databases: Oracle on Power, SAP HANA on Power, PostGres, or MariaDB
- Automation: Terraform, or Ansible
- High Availability: PowerHA, VMRecovery Manager, or LinuxHA
- Security: PowerSC, Security Compliance, Security Auditing, MFA, or File / Database Encryption
5+ years’ experience in:
- Customer facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, and report presentations.
- Project management and the ability to collaborate across teams globally
- Ability to lead customer technical workshops up to 20+ people
- Candidate should be self-organized, eager to learn with strong sense of analysis & troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Readiness up to travel 20% travel annually
- English: Fluent
