We are currently seeking to fill internship positions in the areas of Financial Planning and Accounting.
The 6 Month Internship program is a full-time role for six months beginning either December 2024 through June 2025 or May 2025 through January 2026. We require candidates hired for this program commit to employment for the full 6 month term, as this may require you to take a semester off from school.
This is an office-based position for our office location in Armonk, NY.
You will be immersed in the operations of your assigned area, exposed to many aspects of the business and many of the basic functions of the company. Over your six months at IBM, you will gain a unique and in-depth understanding of the business and what makes it work.
Main job responsibilities include:
- Analyze and interpret complex data while working on financial analysis & reporting
- Acquire and apply business process knowledge along with analytic models in order to improve business outcomes
- Understand the business model for your respective business unit and demonstrate organizational awareness
- Understand and accomplish work objectives through the use of applications that support the retrieval or management of financial data

Candidates should possess the following basic qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Finance/Accounting or closely related undergraduate degree program
- Strong background in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office Suite
- Leadership experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Candidates must have the ability to work in the US without current or future need for sponsorship

- Currently pursing a college degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other closely related degree programs.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Junior or Senior Finance Bachelor’s Degree Candidate
