Your Role and Responsibilities

For those pursuing a Bachelors degree. IBM Product Management transforms how we take Products to market by first focusing on the needs of the client. We are looking for early-career, technically minded entrepreneurs for an intensive internship program with product teams who are solving complex problems in a fast-paced, changing world.
Our interns operate at the center of multidisciplinary teams which include design, engineering, sales, marketing, finance and legal. These product teams serve our clients’ needs under ever-shifting circumstances and have passion for solving user problems with technology.
Interns in this program at IBM build deep and broad skills including market and competitive analysis, planning, and shepherding product development, driving adoption through marketing and digital engagement, and sensing how products are performing in the market.
You will work with experienced IBM product managers, designers and engineers who will challenge you and provide opportunities to accelerate your growth. You will build valuable experience and organizational eminence through mentors and opportunities to network across the business.
When considering applicants for this role, we look for education and background in a combination of areas such as business / data analytics, computer science, design thinking, engineering, entrepreneurship, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, market / user research, product management, product development, and technology commercialization.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Must have basic knowledge in product management, product development, entrepreneurship, or other related work.
- English: Fluent
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 1 year of experience in product management, product development, entrepreneurship, design thinking, market research, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, business analytics, or other related work.
