In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Associate Package Specialist at IBM, you’ll help clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions.
You’ll get in-depth Consulting experience, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients’ business environment. Join us and start your path as a key player to achieve client results and become the expert you want to be. In your role you may be responsible for:
- Perform full life cycle of application implementation, including requirement definition, design, development, testing and date migration.
- Migrate between products or integration with other products, configuration of packages and recovery and backup
- Use your Consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients business environment.
- Assist in selection, implementation, and support of application

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance while in IBM Consulting-Federal.
- Be willing and able to live near and work in Rocket Center, West Virginia
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Have flexibility to work across architecture – building both front end and backend
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud
- Exposure to technologies such as DevOps tools and techniques such as OpenShift, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, and or Agile.
- Exposure of best practices around design patterns, performance tuning, automated and unit testing
- Help maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automatization
- Communicate with stakeholders on technical issues Design and code servers, services, applications and databases on platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and Oracle that are reusable, scalable and meet critical architecture goals.
- Proficiency in working with Git repositories for version control and collaborative development
