Your Role and Responsibilities
With the Software Networking portfolio leadership team, develop and refine our strategic vision and plan alignment with business objectives and market dynamics
– Collaborate with the Leadership Team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and Initiatives across the product teams and our cross-functional peer groups
– Facilitate the Annual fall and spring planning cycl
– Lead cross-functional teams in conducting strategic analysis, market research, and competitive assessments to identify emerging trends, threats and opportunities
– Provide thought leadership and guidance on new in-organic opportunities in the areas of software networking, cloud, automation and AI
– Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and innovation efforts
– Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by championing new ideas, processes, and approaches
– Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including industry experts, investors, and strategic partners, to stay abreast of market developments.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience in corporate development, management consulting, or investment banking related to technology businesses
- Proven track record working as part of a leadership team, capable of building open, candid and respectful stakeholder relationships through which to drive impactful change.
- Operated and influenced comfortably from C-suite to grassroots level of the organization, adapting style and approach to suit the situation.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of driving change to proactively influence our ambitious business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and adapt to market trends within our industry, including competitive threats, to position the portfolio for long-term success
