Introduction
System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services. Sound pretty important? Absolutely! You will advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client’s IT operation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM seeks to hire a System Services Representative in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is for an individual contributor responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of IBM and Multi-Vendor system products including hardware, networking, software and various operating systems in a data center environment. Individual could be responsible for Intel server, storage, printer and networking equipment. This individual would be the primary technical interface supporting clients in the area. Including advising clients regarding preventative maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors that may impact product performance or impair the client’s IT operation. They may also perform services activities such as system assurance, system-level problem determination, discontinuance and system relocation activities when requested or required. They are accountable to ensure a high level of client satisfaction with service delivery, technical support, and operational services for our clients. When critical situations occur, they are the IBM technical interface to clients and manage the situation until a resolution is found. An in-depth background check may be required by area client’s to be on-boarded and gain access to their facility. Passing this type of background check is essential to success in this job role.
