We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Application programming interfaces (API) are the digital glue that links services, applications, sensors and mobile devices to create compelling customer experiences and help businesses tap into new market opportunities. They allow customer to bring new digital services to market, open revenue channels and exceed customer expectations. IBM API Connect is full-lifecycle API management solution that addresses critical aspects of the API lifecycle for both on-premises and cloud environments providing the capability to create, run, manage, secure and Socialize APIs.

The IBM API Connect team is looking for a strong Software Developer who loves working with high performing teams, wants to work with cutting edge OVA and API Management technologies, and thrives on helping customers become successful with API projects. In this role you will have an opportunity to make a big impact by helping build a global development & support team that excels in delighting our customers.

This role specializes in performing and enabling development and support of IBM software, hardware, and solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You are required to have the following experience:

Experience with containerized applications in cluster nodes configuration.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience working with GitHub as source code control.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge to advise and help customers with problems.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Skills with GOLANG, and Python.
Has experience leading project teams.
Experience with Backend security development.
Experience with containerized applications with OVE and Kubernetes.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
