Utilize knowledge and skills applicable to the field of Occupational Health (OH). They work on prevention, investigate and treat /manage workplace-related illnesses and injuries. They identify possible health hazards related to workplace and work environmental and consult the management and employees on proper protection techniques. They support, coordinate and manage the care of ill and injured workers within a variety of OH programs, targeting individual and organizational aspects of the work such as medical case management, return-to-work programs or health benefits

Your Role and Responsibilities
Utilize knowledge and skills applicable to the field of Occupational Health (OH). They work on prevention, investigate and treat /manage workplace-related illnesses and injuries. They identify possible health hazards related to workplace and work environmental and consult the management and employees on proper protection techniques. They support, coordinate and manage the care of ill and injured workers within a variety of OH programs, targeting individual and organizational aspects of the work such as medical case management, return-to-work programs or health benefits
- Uses nursing skills to develop, implement and administer total health programs and services consistent with and in compliance with IBM’s Corporate Health programs and processes and government regulations.
- Assesses client needs, tracks issues for problem patterns, resolves individual employee questions or issues, prepares employee communications, implements and supports total health projects, makes changes to adapt to changing legislation, manages vendor relationships and negotiates contracts.
- Provides high quality client service by demonstrating diplomacy, compassion and professional competency.
- Develop and apply knowledge of occupational injury/illness process to assess, document, report and manage program to decrease or eliminate incidents, facilitate appropriate employee entry into the health care system and return to productivity.
- Oversees less experienced medical staff performing clinical duties.
- Teams with other IBM functions on matters involving legal compliance, employee relations, and financial aspects related to medical programs.
- Creates a positive culture based upon prevention and promotion of employee health and wellness initiatives.
- Works on special projects, providing leadership in developing and implementing total health strategies.
- Demonstrates understanding of Corporate Health principles such as aligning with business and client objectives, supporting employee wellbeing, and providing subject matter expert advice and counsel to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Focuses on individual/team objectives and development of professional effectiveness.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program, and duly-licensed registered as a nurse the Philippines.
- Must have unrestricted nursing license to practice in the Philippines.
- Must be Computer literate
- Must be willing to work shift and/or week ends (if needed)
- Must be amenable to work in Quezon City in a Hybrid Set up
Must have completed 40hours Basic Occupational Safety and Health training for nurses
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role in occupational medicine or in a clinical setting as medical nurse and/or clinic manager.
