Senior Big Data Software Engineer – Trusteer

Your Role and Responsibilities

Trusteer, IBM Security labs in Tel-Aviv, is seeking a passionate Big Data Engineer that wishes to take part
in the design and development of the data platform powering the company’s security solutions.
As part of this role, you will:

Design and maintain petabyte-scale data lakes running on AWS infrastructure
Use Apache Spark and AWS EMR platforms to build complex ETL processes
Design, implement and support backend Java/Scala systems responsible for large-scale data flows
Improve scalability and performance of the existing data pipelines
Build and use multi layered testing frameworks and CI/CD processes

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years of server-side development in Java
Experience in building large-scale distributed systems
Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem, Apache Spark)
Experience and knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases
Strong SQL skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with AWS data solutions (S3, EMR, Athena, Redshift)
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with TDD methodology

A valid work permit
