Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced engineer in automated process control (APC) for semiconductors and related devices. The hired candidate will have a strong background in process control mechanisms, lithography and overlay run-to-run controllers, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and fab network infrastructures demonstrated through work experience and/or published work. The candidate will also be expected to be a leader in identifying key opportunities for APC growth by relying on experience with coding, data analysis, and semiconductor tooling outputs. The positions require interaction with cross-functional and multi-company working teams that include engineers engaged in all areas of semiconductor process development, process integration, fab infrastructure, and quality assurance. The hired candidate must possess strong analytical and design-of-experiment knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

You must be willing to work in Albany, NY, with occasional day travel to Yorktown Heights, NY, and infrequent overnight travel to various locations worldwide. (<10%)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 5+ years of experience with process control systems, specifically lithography and overlay controllers
• 5+ years of experience with programming languages like Java, Python, etc.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor fab network infrastructure and manufacturing execution systems
• Strong skillset in analysis, collaboration, and communication

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• 8+ years of experience with process control systems, specifically lithography and overlay controllers
• 8+ years of experience with programming languages like Java, Python, etc.
• Proven record of APC application and fab infrastructure improvements
• Experienced in leading and co-developing solutions across departments and companies to drive semiconductor technology requirements
