Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Storage Scale is the Software Defined Storage solution for the new era of data. This is an opportunity for a talented Software Test Specialist to join the growing IBM Storage Scale Development and Test teams in changing the world. The ideal candidate is a technophile who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about learning new tools and technologies, and is comfortable interacting with internal and external clients.

As Software Test Developer focusing on IBM Storage Scale you will contribute to the test and support of a state-of-the-art cluster file system geared towards High Performance Computer, Cloud, Big Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning workloads. Storage Scale is deployed in many of the world’s largest commercial deployments. You will work closely with Development to ensure critical software and hardware functions are thoroughly tested and validated using automated testing techniques. While at the same time contributing to our overall automation framework which in turn supports continuous integration & delivery of our product/releases

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Test Automation Proficiency: Have experience with Pytest or other automation framework.
• Programing Language Proficiency: Possess knowledge with Python or C/C++ programming languages.
• Linux Proficiency: Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Agile Development Methodologies: understanding of software development and QA processes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with Storage and distributed file systems concepts.
• API Testing and Automation Familiarity: Hands-on experience in API testing and API automation.
