Introduction
The infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world’s relationship with technology evolves. Companies have more choices than ever before between on-premise, off-premise, or a hybrid approach. Our Infrastructure Specialists are responsible for keeping up with these latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Systems Administration and Maintenance:
Administer system components with the goal of meeting performance and usage requirements
• Perform maintenance, installation, setup and configuration of systems
• Monitor the integrity of the systems to ensure availability to users in a secure and controlled manner
• Conduct system backups, optimisation, initiation of recovery procedures and routine troubleshooting
• Liaise with relevant parties to meet installation priorities and prevent disruption of service
• Produce systemic and/or ad hoc reports

Systems Enhancement:
• Assist with the development of new systems as per the system requirements
• Implement systems security and integrity controls
• Assist with new system testing and implementation
• Assist with piloting of new tools, technologies, and/or processes.

• Create systems documentation which records modifications and developments carried out
• Maintain technical documentation including systems structures, system requirements, process flows, operating procedures and management guidelines

Troubleshooting and Resolution:

  • Oversee the assessment of risks to systems.
  • Identify complex system issues to provide advisory to the stakeholders.
  • Solve faults occurring in the operation of hardware and software.
  • Perform systems repairs.
  • Provide escalation support for issues presented by the user.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer systems, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of server administration, operating systems (Windows , Citrix and Linux/Unix), virtualization technologies, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written mediums with internal and external stakeholders
